At Britepak, we specialise in supplying pharmaceutical manufacturers with folding cartons, leaflets, cut labels and general print – offering a professional prepress service, top-quality lithographic printing and faultless finishing.

Founded in January 1973, Britepak Trading was incorporated into the Transpaco Group in March 2005. This merger allowed us to increase our market share considerably by gaining customers wishing to deal with a Black Economic Empowerment company. The merger has also provided us with a platform for future growth in providing paper-based packaging for the broader fast moving consumer goods market.

Prepress

Britepak’s prepress department plays a pivotal role in ensuring top-quality printed packaging for customers, the majority of whom are in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.

Our dedicated team – DTP operators, proof readers and repro specialists – ensure that all our jobs comply with the stringent specifications laid down by the pharmaceutical industry and conform to all relevant legislation.

Whether customers require simple branding for scheduled drugs or eye-catching creative designs for the highly competitive market of over-the-counter medications, we will supply the high-quality,100% accurate artwork.

Today’s work at Britepak is almost entirely computer-to-plate (CTP), and we have invested in the latest Suprasetter for top-quality plate-setting technology. We ensure efficient tracking of jobs using the latest MIS system.

Because we offer stringent document control and adherence to approved manufacturing procedures our customers have complete peace-of-mind.

We meticulously destroy obsolete material; we run a strong archiving and storage system; and we regularly and efficiently back-up all files.

Finishing

Other recent investments have included automatic flat-bed die-cutting, with an automatic register system; and a folder-gluer.  These investments have given us faster turnaround times and assured us of faultless quality in the competitive printed carton market.

We have an in-house folding department equipped with modern equipment enabling us to meet our customer’s package insert folding requirements.

Our despatch department delivers nationally and servicing customers throughout the country. 

Printing

Britepak’s customers are assured of faultless printing and finishing thanks to our state-of-the-art equipment.

As far as we are concerned, print quality is non-negotiable. And we’ve proved this assertion by winning numerous gold medals in the prestigious ’Supplier of the Year’ awards.

Our production plant utilises the most modern lithographic presses, including five-colour, as well as various other presses. Continual investment in modern printing technology has propelled us into the upper end of the full-colour lithographic printing market.

One of our recent investments has been an off-line, high quality Ultra-Violet UV Varnish machine enabling us to meet our customer’s high quality varnish needs.
